first river trip of 2011:

my first river trip involved an amazing motorcycle ride, buds, babes, perfect weather, and the river. what more could you ask for? first roll shot with the 50mm lens for the canon, and I think I'm gonna go back to the 28mm for the next roll, I like it a lot better.

so, I went camping, stared at this, communed with the gods, and then found morels the next morning. it was a good way to spend a couple of days.

so, it's been a while. I think wang was also there? and I wanna say... somebody else? maybe not, but I thought there was five of us? anyway, miguel, emily, wang, somebody maybe, and I went on a ride, on a nice day. it was really pretty. and we went to kelly point park. yup.

I sit here, reading doctor who, and occasionally decide that it's pretty enough to put down the book, get out of my cab, and take a picture. this is actually one of my favorites so far.

hawaii

this is what hawaii (oahu) looks like. honolulu, then the north shore. it's really damn pretty. I don't think I'll be going back any time soon, but I'm really glad I went.

there's this parking lot that I sit in when it's slow at work. I read doctor who books, and listen to the radio, eat lunch sometimes, call my parents. you know, the things you do when sitting in a parking lot. I love the view, so I've decided to document it. here's what the voigtlander had to say about it. I didn't keep track of the dates the pictures were taken, but some time about early february.
