I've said it before, but it bears repeating...

there's something about cincinnati that just grabs me. maybe I'm fated to die there, maybe next time I go I'll find a gold brick, who the fuck knows? I feel like the kids I've met there are a big part of it. they have a bit of that fresno feel to them, the banding together of a small group where, even when they're pissed at each other, they're family, and even if they hate cincy, it's their home, and you better shut the fuck up about it. anyway. love those kids, love the town, here's some pictures.

cincinnati is beautiful.

man, I wish there was a way I could just spend a week walking around and taking pictures of all the buildings without the worry that someone was going to punch me, take my camera, and leave me for dead.

on our way to the desert.

on the way to the desert, shortly before I pissed on the side of this building, I realized that I really liked the colors of it's sign. somewhere in between bakersfield, california, and apple valley, california.

estacada

for those who have never been estacada has many fine murals on the walls of it's town. here's a couple I like.

I went to a hotel, there were friends waiting for me.

I saw what appeared to be a homeless man attack a car with a golf club. hello, seattle.

random country photos

on a lot of these, I like the prints better, the color, or washed outedness comes out so much more in print. Ah well. Near Molalla, OR.

ice cream is unlikely.

downtown never feels comfortable to me.

west burn, west burn, uptown shopping. once this area was fodder for jello biafra. now it's residents are too class to serve jello, and no one living here has ever heard of biafra. have you?

whatcha all know about rocky butte? (part 1)

I'm sure there will be more. one can not have too many pictures from such a place as this. if you click on the first picture, you can look through the hole in the wall, and see east portland. it's a special treat.

continued fail.

I've taken over 6 photos of this fallen down building, and this is the best I can get, all the rest being blurry and unidentifiable. it's cursed, and I concede.

photo blog, I'd like to introduce you to Jawbreaker:

boat on a hill, never going to sea, anchored, to a fixer upper's dream.

you know, like, america, and shit.

america. part of my "this is why gresham is actually beautiful, you pretentious hipster fucks" series.

i took a picture of a church last week, and i didn't like it, so i went back,

and took a new picture. much more to my liking, though you still can't see the cross on top. not a fan of catholics, but i like their architecture.

this building is empty, and feeling alone.

I would rent him, if I could afford it. he's very attractive, on the outside, at the very least. I would love to have a storefront near se portland. one of my many dreams would be opening a private club, with a handful of owners, run as a speakeasy, a showspace, a hang out to play chess or dice or whatnot. someday i might have money, but not any time soon, I'm sure.

HARD CORVALLIS.

first, my oldest memory of Corvallis, a place I've never really been, is the fact that all the hardcore kids always used to call it Hard Corvallis. funny stuff. then I was there, and found some amazingly awesome graffiti that said just that. I blew the shot though, and you can't read it. just below that, on the same building was more graffiti that I was unable to obtain. it said the best quote ever, "DON'T SAY MOTHER FUCKER, MOTHER FUCKER." good stuff. and then I went to a Mexican restaurant that was sort of just bolted together. with biblical quotes. amazingly good chile rellenos.

wheatland ferry

it's apparently a town, in oregon. there are train tracks, and this building, and it's large and nicely imposing.

after molalla.

there is a building.

my favorite abandoned building, yet, for sure.

don't tell me what it was for. I believe it was a place of magic, and your real world logic won't change that.
